Moving On
This is our last day in Melbourne. It's a vibrant, friendly city and we've learnt a lot about it since we've been here. Tomorrow morning it's off to Port Douglas, a coastal resort in the rainforest, right at the top of the country. I'm looking forward to it immensely. I could do with a holiday!
PS: Ross will be writing soon, I promise. He's feeling fine but having trouble keeping out of the shops long enough to get to the computer. More importantly, I'll leave him to put on some photos. Watch out for sea creatures, coastal scenary and more, in the next episode of Around the World in 31 Days.
PS: Today is Valentine's Day, so how else could we celebrate but with a Neighbours get together in a local pub. I reckon I can easily trade Ross in for Dr Karl and continue on the trip with him.\!

Hilary - I hope you survive 31 days of 24 hours of the man they call Ross . We struggle with 5 days of 8 hours (more like 6 when coffee breaks are removed ) at CA .
Ross - Did you manage to get the 25 red roses sorted ? Did your plan of getting 25 red ones from one big round tin for Tescos work ? Or did you have to buy another tin ? No doubt a two for one offer !
Have a wonderful time .
cheers ,

Blogalogues ....don't believe a word of it! Hilary + Ross are actually holed up in a seedy B+B in Lesser Boddington, 5 miles due east of Blognor Regis.
The dastardly duo have combined creative writing genius with high tech computer wizardry to create the blog you see before you.
Travelling along the wintry laneways of England with a Ramsay Street sign sticking out of their boot, the mystery reached its zenith this week as Avril + Ric landed in Melbourne. Where exactly were the elusive couple? Apparently, not in Melbourne. Had they been abducted by aliens? Were they double agents? Were they simply pawns or the masterminds of some great conspiracy? Were the Freemasons involved? Had they been kidnapped by evil drug barons and forced to play Russian Roulette?
No expense was spared. Investigative sleuths, aided by the US military media unit, were engaged to track down the couple and bring you this exclusive story. Needless to say, the truth was out there, but the story was nowhere near as exciting as the hypotheses and therefore not worth telling.
If you should spot the couple, tell them we had a fantastic time in Melbourne and would love to do it again some day.
